Wow hello!

Here I am once again...I'm surprised they haven't deleted all my posts yet! hah
I am finally done with school and have my degree! I graduated on December 19, 2009, from University of North Texas. It's a Bachelors of Science in Development & Family Studies. I wanted to get a job in Early Intervention, and I have nearly completed my Early Intervention Specialist Certification. However, there are no jobs available in the area right now. So I am working at a preschool as an assistant teacher part time, and have been accepted into an alternative teacher certification program. I will begin training in March, and in May, I will receive a probationary certificate. I can then get a job in August, and work my first year as an "intern". After that one year, I get certified. It's awesome! I'm excited.
Brandon enlisted in the Air Force Reserves back in December as well! We are super excited about this! We are waiting to hear when he will be leaving for training. The time stop is frustrating. We can't make any other plans until we know when he is leaving.
That's really about it for now. Til next time!

So, once again

Well, let's see. What do I have to say now? Christina and the three children came for a visit yesterday and we had a great time! Little Lily is a trip.
I have one week left at the preschool, and then I start applying myself to school more! I also have a nanny job that I will be doing on MWF. I am excited about this change and think it will be a great one! The family seems wonderful.
Everything else is about the same. My cousin Lisa is visiting from England and arrives Thursday. She will be here two weeks. It will be nice to see her.

Wow! 1 1/2 years!

Holy crap. Lots of things have happened in the past year and a half since I last wrote! I had forgotten about this thing! lol.
Well, I am currently working as an assistant teacher at a private preschool. I love the job, but I seriously am aching to finish school. I am still dragging along towards that degree, which I suppose is better than not dragging at all. My major is Child Development, which I hope to use to become an Early Childhood Intervention Specialist.
Brandon is still at HW, and while it gets us through the bills, he is growing to dislike the job. He is ready for something more steady, which is understandable. He is working on an associates in business at Univ. of Phoenix online. He hopes to continue on to a bachelors after that. Then who knows what he will do with it? lol
We are living in Lewisville now, and we got another dog last August. Bella, a Pomeranian mix. She is crazy.
I guess that's it for the update. Maybe I can keep them closer. haha. Not that anyone reads this anyway.

I'm back again...

Haha, ok, so I'm not keeping up with this thing very well...it's not like I have a lot to write about anyway!!!
I'm still working at the good ole bank. I didn't get the job with the photography studio. BUT, thats ok! It was a life changing experience. When I went to my second interview with the woman, it was to show me the little studio and the basics of operating the thing. Then, she proceeds to SHOW ME how to make the kids laugh!!!! WHAT?! They have set ways of making the children laugh. You can't just get your kid in their pose, and then make funny faces or anything. You have to use their method. I was appalled! I thought it would be a fun little job, but no, after that interview, I was praying she didn't call me back to offer me the job, because I wouldn't have taken it. I don't want to be told how to make the kids laugh. I want to be able to do it my own way. SO, this made me realize, I am more than ready to be in charge of myself and start my own photography business. Thus, I am in the process of creating, what I hope will be "Mirrored Reflections Photography" specializing in children. I have a new professional digital camera, laptop, and other materials already. I have done a photo shoot with all the nieces and nephews to get some proofs and see what I am capable of doing. It went well! I already have a friend who wants me to shoot her wedding and a couple other little shoots people have hit me up for! So, it's not even up and running as of yet, but I already have jobs! I take this as a good sign. (Hopefully)
School starts back up next week. oh yay! Actually, I am excited. I think it will be a very interesting semester.
Ryan moved to Denton yesterday. We went up and ate dinner with everyone. It's strange having him up here and going to UNT. But it's cool!
I guess that's it for now. Brandon is still working working...He goes on a business trip the 2nd week in September (I will be lonely....haha not. I will enjoy the peace! ;o)...) and then when he gets back, he is going to try to get a second job in the evenings.
So, until next time......

I'm back!

Hi everyone! I don't even know who reads this anymore, but here's a new post anyway. (If you read it, leave me a comment so I know I'm not wasting my time!!!)
So, I've been kind of looking for a new job...I have a 2nd interview with a children's photography studio in Lewisville tomorrow morning! I'm excited. I hope I get it!!!! I hate my current stupid manager, (bi*ch) but I love everyone else I work with. Which that will suck if I leave. I'll miss them very much. But hopefully, I will get treated more fairly at this new job. (IF I get it)
I still love my car, still love my apartment! Um...I'm looking into starting my own photography business...Still only a possibility...but I'm getting much peer pressure to go forward with it from many people...I guess that's a sign. We shall see. ;o)
Hell, I don't know what else to put! Not much else to say...so peace.

Lots to say

Wow! No one is keeping up with their blog, so I'm safe! haha
Well, since April 10th, lots has happened...Starting with the best... Last weekend, I GOT A NEW CAR! YES! It's awesome! It is a pretty, dark orange (NO, that does not mean I am a Longhorns fan...I don't care about college football, but if I did, I would go for A&M anyway!!!) It has that great new car smell, it's a 2007, and best of all.......it's a DODGE! Yeah! I have a Dodge Caliber. I LOVE it. It's a cool car with lots of prospects for souping up. I intend on making it faster. Brandon and I have an ongoing collection of change deemed the Caliber fix-up fund. It's awesome, because not many are out yet, and no one knows what it is. So people keep asking me, and they think my car is tight. hehehe
What else...well, momma, Christina, her two kids and I went to IKEA today. That place is great! They have everything. They were nice and bought me a picture for our bedroom and some other trinkets for decorative purposes. When B and I get our house built, everything will come from IKEA! And the best part is, it's not as expensive as you would think.
Brandon finally sold his Mustang! Yay! So his Eclipse is currently in the works of getting fixed. Then we will be set on cars. Hopefully. I don't know really, what with his luck with cars. hah.
Um, I'm thinking...oh, speaking of cars, my Dad also got a new car. He traded in his truck (too much money for gas...) and got a Mazda 3. He looks so cool in it. I think he knows he does too...haha.
Well, I suppose that's it. That I can think of right now anyway. So, until next time. ;o)

Ok, sorry

I've been lazy...and now i'm getting in trouble for not writing! So here goes.
No, Scott, the chicken doesn't have many calories. I don't know how many it has, but if you cut the butter, it's a very healthy dinner.
Becky, I don't know when we will be able to have you guys over! We are poor at the moment. So, we will see.
All last week was normal. I registered for my classes this summer and fall. I'm so excited! I'm taking Prepracticum this summer which has to do with children. Then in the fall, I am taking 12 hrs, --abnormal child psyc, infant/toddler development, observation/assessment of children, and nutrition. I wanted to take 15 hrs, but it's not possible with work. I'll graduate one day. I swear. It may take me 10 years, but I'll get there. hah.
This past weekend was not too eventful. Worked Saturday, then just chilled at home. Then on Sunday, my little brother Nathan was confirmed at church and we ate lunch while they sat up front. Then we went and visited my family for a while, and headed out to Momma's house to see the other family and ate Chinese food. yum...
So, now here we are at another Monday...waiting for the next Saturday...
I found out yesterday that Rascal Flatts is coming to Frisco on June 16, so I already requested off from work today! I am NOT missing that concert!!!!! I don't care if I have to go by myself, I refuse to wait a few more years. But I think Stacy and Brandon are going to go. In the mean time, we might see if we can work up some more people so we can have a group.
Well, I suppose thats it!
